SOLACE OF LOVE

When you’re feeling lost and alone,

Take repose in that your heart will always lead you home,

It’s a cruel world that often leaves us blind,

But the solace of it all is that love we may find,

It often arrives when expected the least but need it the most,

Don’t be weary of it when it walks in, and don’t fear past ghosts,

They’ll do nothing but restrain you from giving your all,

Ever holding you back with worries about taking the fall,

Restore that innocence you once had as a child,

Where your dreams of love once ran vividly wild,

Only then can the door to your heart open truly wide,

And only then will you have nothing to fear nor hide,

So when you’re feeling lost and alone,

Take repose that the love in your heart will lead you home.
