DEFYING GRAVITY

DEFYING GRAVITY

Subtle innuendos in her ways and words,

Sometimes teetering on the brink of absurd,

Yet I cling to her every action and every syllable,

Wondering if what we have is even possible,

She thinks from the left, me from the right,

A combination to a psychotherapist’s delight,

She analyzes each and every part,

While I’m satisfied with the sum of her heart,

Regardless in how we approach it, it is still love,

And there is nothing more that I dream of,

Far be it for me to question her adoration of me,

I am merely thankful to just let it be,

I feel as if I’m lost in orbit to her gravitational pull,

I’m intuitive to her persuasive ways I’m no fool,

I just let her think she has manipulation over me,

She’s too busy rationalizing so she doesn’t always see,

That this thing between us is rather quite unique,

And that as long as we have it, nowhere else shall I ever seek.
