TRANQUILITY

TRANQUILITY

It’s okay to cry, Tranquility for we all do,

Although I hate to see tears well up in eyes so vibrantly blue,

Come here my child and lay your head upon my chest,

May you find comfort and peacefulness from the rest,

Sweet Tranquility, you’re my reason to breathe,

Ever since you were born, is a bond between you and me,

Unbreakable is this connection between us,

In each other we have complete trust,

I love you in the way a father should love his daughter,

Come to me anytime, for never is that a bother,

I’ll hold you in my arms until I see you smile again,

When you think this world has neglected you, remember I remain,

One another is really all we have to confide in,

Your mother would be proud of us and the strength within,

I see so much of her in you Tranquility, I do,

If only you could have met her you’d see it too,

She always said while in her womb was a sense of serenity,

From that moment on we settled on one name for you… Tranquility,

It’s proven right throughout the years,

You have always brought a calmness to subside my fears,

So tonight as you share with me yours,

It is my turn to help you regain your composure,

As difficult as it is to see tears in eyes of the purist blue,

Remember this, it’s okay to cry Tranquility, for we all do.
