A SIMPLE VALENTINE’S POEM

Candy hearts with words of adoration,

If I had to pick one to describe our situation,

It would definitely be “I’M YOURS”,

I’ll always be no matter what life implores,

I’ll be your crying shoulder,

One to lean on, as we grow older,

I’ll be your breath of fresh air,

The one who will always care,

As to what worries your mind,

Seek in me, refuge you will find,

I’ll be your best friend,

Until my days come to an end,

I’ll give you reasons to smile,

Promising you that this is all worthwhile,

I’ll stand beside you through laughter and tears,

Enjoying every giggle and guiding you through fears,

That one candy heart says it simple yet true,

“I’M YOURS” and I intend to always belong to you.
