MY SUPERPOWER

MY SUPERPOWER





If I had one superpower,

It would be the ability to look ahead an hour,

So I could have the dexterity of hindsight,

Before my mistakes could happen, making them right,

A strength so deft,

Giving me the capacity to retrieve my words before they left,

I would never speak ill of one’s situation,

I could avoid moments of complication,

I would only use this power for all that is good,

A capacity of such I’d use to save lives, I would,

I could take back my mistakes before their occurrence,

It would give me the confidence of self-assurance,

Composure to collect my thoughts and actions,

Always resulting in a sense of satisfaction,

Unfortunately there is no such thought,

Hindsight is all that we have for our lessons to be taught,

Such a crazy notion of mine to ask to see into the future,

Nonetheless it would be an awesome superpower to have for sure.
