THE EXISTENCE OF BEAUTY

Over the years, I’ve discovered something about beauty’s way,

It surrounds you and me everyday,

Most importantly there is beauty in us all,

Beauty is not reserved for someone special,

The truth of the matter persists,

In each of us beautiful exists,

It’s not always easy to believe there is beauty in some,

But I do, for one,

Beautiful can be as deep as the skin,

Yet the true beauty comes from deep within,

I’ve seen beauty in the most negative of places,

And I’ve seen beauty through the eyes of unfamiliar faces,

It is quite peculiar, the existence of beauty,

Yet if you look closely you too will see,

And hopefully discover something about beauty’s way,

That it surrounds you and me everyday.
