THIEVERY OF THE HEART

THIEVERY OF THE HEART

THIEVERY I cry!

For she stole my heart,

All I can do is sigh,

For you I don’t want to part.

Thievery of the heart,

A crime punishable by love,

Your sentence soon will start,

All it takes is a shove.

A shove to take that fall,

Remember that my beautiful thief,

Take it… Take it all,

For you’re convicted of this belief.

A belief in something grand,

We are on the cusp of you see,

How do you plead in front of the jury you now stand?

Innocent in all of this or do you reply guilty?

It is no surprise,

That what is wrote all over you is guilt,

I see it all in your sly eyes,

A poor case your defense has built.

You sneaky, swindling kleptomaniac my heart you stole,

Yet for some strange reason I’ve never felt so completely whole.
