TO STEAL A KISS

TO STEAL A KISS

She’ll pull you in with that big, easy smile,

One so damn beautiful it makes your existence worthwhile,

Your head upon her lap you try to steal a kiss,

But she beats you to the punch, leaning in just to gently bite your lip,

She pulls her light brown hair off to one side,

Letting you know what’s about to come next, rolling kisses as if the ocean tide,

She giggles as she tempts you,

It was her plan all along, you knew,

You know the games she likes to play,

Harmless they are in a lover’s way,

It’s moments such as this,

That conjure memories you never want to miss,

She’ll steal your heart from the inside out,

That what this angel’s love is all about,

Within her you place your trust,

For it to be pure you know you must,

You have to give her your all,

And she’ll appreciate your efforts big or small,

Before you know it, you’ll never want to part,

For you see, even before she pulled you in she stole your heart.
