GOOD MOURNING LOVE

GOOD MOURNING LOVE

Good mourning love, why so cold?

Suppose you should have heeded the words I told,

Why are your lips so withered and blue?

Not a good shade I’d recommend for you,

Why must you lie there so stiff?

I warned you about all your mischief,

What’s that you speak about?

Speak up, the demons won’t shut their mouth,

Oh, I see,

Why did I take the life of thee?

Give me a second as I dine on your still beating heart,

You see, I did it because you broke my world apart,

Promises were made and those promises you shattered,

Now I can only justify pieces of you be scattered,

Across this place we once called home,

Now here I sit a crazy man dining alone,

On the flesh I once kissed,

Oh such a shame for you will be missed,

Good mourning love, your shame I’ll never tell,

I hope you warm up a bit in those fiery pits of Hell.
