There’s a warm breeze blowing off the surf tonight,

Holding you with our toes in the sand just felt right,

Your head leaning on my shoulder as we watched the sunset,

Not asking you out earlier was my only regret,

Evenings like these are what it’s all about,

They way your viridian eyes look at me leave me no doubt,

Yet chromium they are not,

The softest of greens I have never forgot,
