I WILL

When the voices of others show no compassion or care,

I want you to know that I’ll always be there,

For I know the journey is quite a long haul,

As life is for most of us all,

I will be your shoulder to cry on,

I will be the strength that you can always rely on,

Plain and simple, there is nothing I wouldn’t do,

For I am the heart that will always be there for you.

When you feel left behind and merely forgotten,

I will remember to lift you up from the down trodden,

Sometimes you’ll get lost in this world’s confusion,

Misguided by fools and their illusions,

I will be the clarity you regain and peace of mind,

In me, salvation from the obscene you can find,

Always know that I will be there, my friend,

I will always be right there until the very end.
