HALLOW IS THE HEART

Hallow is the heart,

Yet it can bring much pain,

Shallow are the ones that break your world apart,

Leaving emptiness and a love we must regain.

Mysterious, this center of our emotions,

Heartache has yet to see a cure for its disease,

So many left dying on love’s battlefield of commotion,

Asking why? Wondering how? And questions such as these.

To the empty hearted, rise up and take a stand,

The world has not ended, its only just begun,

Trampled on by others you must not withstand,

It’s time to take your love and run.

Run to the one who will appreciate you,

One who will recognize the heart is hallow and that love is true.
